Gloria leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gloria’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gloria will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Glenn and Eva Gertrude Clay (Butler); and her brother Roger Clay. She is survived by: her husband David Wayne McDaniel, Sr.; her sisters, Mary Clay Lill, Ruth Clay Lowrey and Diane Clay Ashby; her sons, David Wayne McDaniel, Jr. (Jennie) and Billy McDaniel; her brothers, Dennis Clay (Margie) of Dacula Ga and Richard Clay (Judy) of Carnesville Ga; and her friend Linda Haney. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; her sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (300 Simonton Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of TIM Stewart Funeral Home (300 Simonton Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
