He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Allgood Whitley; and his parents, Verlon Whitley and Cecil Whitley. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hudlow Whitley of Lawrenceville, GA; his daughters, Sheila (David Sigler) and Lisa (Tom Kenney); his stepdaughter Jennifer Osbon of Duluth, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher Pitcher, Robert Pitcher, Caroline Kenney, Kathryn Osbon, Eric Pitcher, Grace Kenney, Jack Kenney, Rosemary Osbon and Veronica Osbon; his great grandchildren, Myla Pitcher and Silas Pitcher; his pets, Tom and Jerry; and his siblings, Ramon (Cathy Whitley), Tommy (Alice Whitley), Sylvia (Thois Masters), Hugh (Janice Whitley), Loy (Bernice Whitley) and Sue (Gary Walls).
