It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Lackey of Lawrenceville, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Danny Eugene Lackey of Athens and Oksun Bennett of Dalton; his children, Savannah Lackey of Flowery Branch and Brandon Lackey of Gainesville; and his brothers, Chris Lackey of Savannah and Dustin Lackey of Kentucky.

In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made in Mr. Lackey honor to Crooked Creek Baptist Church, 6202 Jefferson River Rd. Athens, Ga. 30607.
