Jean left this world on September 29, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jean had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jean may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lida Mae Mann and Alexander M. Kelhoffer; her husband James L. LaRocque; her brother Raymond Kelhoffer; and her aunt Edith Welborn.
She is survived by: her children, Jay LaRocque (Pamela), Jan Tullis (Doug), James G. LaRocque (Jennifer) and Jerry LaRocque (Tammy Day). She is also survived by three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel (1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Hope Christian Church or to a favorite charity, in memory of Jean LaRocque.
