He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Cox and Annie Kate Holley; and his brother Robert Michael Cox (Mike). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hurley Cox; his sister-in-law Deborah Howell Cox; his nieces, Traci Parsons (Mike), Shanna Borders (Eric) and Kristina Corbett; his nephew Devon Corbett (Carrie); his siblings-in-law, Robert Hurley and Marsha Sharp (Mike); his niece Kalen Vanderhorst (Barry); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin Roberts, Nathan Sharp, Rylan Borders, Cooper Corbett, Tayve Borders, Kensley Vanderhorst, Emry Borders, Annabelle Corbett and Macie Von Kalben.
