He was predeceased by: his parents, Monty Kemp and Gladys Kemp (Long). He is survived by: his wife Elaina Kemp of Lawrenceville; his children, John, Allison Kemp, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Robert Kemp of Clinton, TN, Jason, Ashley Kemp of Kingston, TN, Logan Kemp of Lawrenceville, GA and Nicole Kerns of Molena, GA; his siblings, Harry Kemp of Molena, GA, Debi Hite of Avalon, CA and Emily Davis; and his stepdaughters, Kelley West and Nikki Couch. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
