He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Cox and Myrtle Cox; his mother-in-law Katie Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Davis Day and Barry Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis Cox; his son Jason (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jared of Royston, Justin of Royston and Kathryn Cox of Royston; and his siblings, Ricky Cox (Margarette), Greg Cox (Lynn) of Canton, GA, Connie Cox Littlefield (Rickey) of Rutledge, GA. and Jerry Davis (Candace) of Dacula. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
