He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Waldrip and Lily Waldrip; his siblings, Ethel Waldrip, Frank Waldrip (Mary), Don Waldrip, Rachel Waldrip Brinkley (Vernon), Fred Waldrip, Arthur Waldrip, Gene Waldrip (Joyce), Nick Waldrip (Margret) and Ollie Waldrip (Lucille); and his brother-in-law Raleigh Porter.
He is survived by: his sister Louise Waldrip Porter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service (288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (1375 New Hope Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30045).
