He was predeceased by: his fathers, Jacob Everett Sharon and Robert Wallace Hamilton; his brother Patric Hamilton; and his parents-in-law, Francis Remo and Esther Beatrice Simonetti (Leeman).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Hamilton (Simonetti); his children, Tod Patric Hamilton (Sarah), Craig Hamilton (Kathy), Scott Hamilton (Peggy) and Ann Hamilton; his siblings, Tim Hamilton (Cindy) and Loanna Hattenfield (David); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Lauren, Vincent, Anthony and Frances.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in memory of Michael Jay Hamilton to Cornerstone Bible Church, 869 Cole Dr. Lilburn, GA 30047, to the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
