He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Gullett Bennett and Lillie Mae Deen Bennett; his wife Katherine Ann Ward Bennett; his children, Philip Deen Bennett and Elizabeth Ellen Bennett Garduno; and also Dortha Helon Rose Estes of Tippah County, MS.
He is survived by: his brothers, Paul Deen Bennett of Appling, GA and Johnnie Ray Bennett of Corinth, MS; his stepsons, Kerry Dene Wolfe of Lawrenceville, GA and Michael Ward Wolfe of Hermitage, TN; his grandchildren, Rose Ellen Garduno Pequignot of Joplin, MO, Cody Deen Bennett of Lawrenceville, GA, Miranda Rose Bennett of Lawrenceville, GA and Marcie Rose Aaron of Atlanta, GA; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh Rose and Averie Ryan Pequignot of Joplin, MO..
