He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Lewis and Alice Lewis of Independence; his wife Barbara Wood Lewis; his son Matthew Michael Lewis of Snellville, Georgia.; and his sister Dolly McMurtry. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
