With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Neal Harrelson of Lawrenceville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Franklin Harrelson; and his parents, Emmett Coleman Harrelson and Ida Jane Pittman Harrelson. He is survived by: his children, Daryl, Kathy Harrelson of Loganville, GA, Jeff, Lisa Moss of Conyers, GA, Scarlett and Hal Stringer of Suwanee; his grandchildren, Christopher Harrelson, Jason Harrelson, Colton, Jordan Harrelson, Zayne, Bethany Stringer and Evan Stringer; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Luke, Reed, Harper Harrelson and Cole Stringer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Neal Harrelson.
