She was predeceased by: her husband James Quincy Austin, Sr.; and her son William Davis Austin. She is survived by: her son Jake; her daughter-in-law Janis Austin of Bowdon; and her daughters, Gail Austin Escue of Marietta and Pam Cartee of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
