He was predeceased by: his son Samuel Edwards; his parents, John Edwards and Jessie Lee Edwards (Gunter); and his sister Linda Faye Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bickerstaff; his children, Randy Edwards (Tenille), Nita Tonne, Lee Washburn, Kevin Edwards (Trixie), Tara Middei (Giovanni), Tonia Edwards, Drew Nall and Tammy Oglesby (Jon); and his sisters, Brenda Tanner, Sandra Byers and Janel Jones. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
