As Shirley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Lamar Johnson; and her children, Sandra and Richard. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as beloved friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sosebee Funeral Home (191 Jarvis St, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
