He was predeceased by: his parents, L. L. Tuten and Ruth Burt Tuten; and his siblings, Frances Garner (Huey), Sara Culpepper (Joel), Elaine Kierce (Carroll) and Larry Tuten (Faye).
He is survived by: his sister Betty Whitston (Freddye). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
