It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas A. Baker of Leesburg, Georgia, born in Glennville, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rufus K. Baker and Pauline Sheffield Baker; his wife Peggy Baker; and his son David Edwin Baker. He is survived by : his children, Kenny Baker of Albany, Kathy Brinson, Stan of Shellman and Tim Baker of Putney; his stepchildren, Teena Foster (Gordon) and Rick McMillian (Brenda); and his former life partner Nancy Baker. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the mother of his children.
