He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Walker and Ester Nesmith Walker; his wife Frances Godwin; his son Greg Walker; and his great grandchild Remington Benjamin Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Walker Connell and Joey Walker (Becky); and his brother Charles Walker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Baptist Church (2091 Lakeview Church Rd, Lenox, GA 31637).
