She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Hillsman Roberts and Amanda Elizabeth Mullis Roberts; her husband Curtis Lawson Waites; her sons, Mickey Waites and Scotty Waites; her granddaughter Amanda Jean Waites; and her siblings, Lemuel Roberts, Julian Roberts, Eston Roberts, Marvin Roberts, Earl Roberts, Carroll Roberts, Henderson Roberts, Clyde Roberts, Lonzie Roberts, Hillsman Roberts, Roy Roberts, Lillian Gay, Ruby Giddens, Ilene Lowery and Cynthia Jane Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Waites (Patsy), Tim Waites (Patty) and Tanya Hayes (Dale). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Baptist Church (2091 Lakeview Church Rd, Lenox, GA 31637). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery (2091 Lakeview Church Rd, Lenox, GA 31637).
