It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Wetherington Rutland of Lenox, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulie Shelton "E. S." "Buddy" Wetherington, Sr. and Flora Trammell Wetherington; her husband Roy Rutland; her son Marty Rutland; and her siblings, Sonya Ellen Wetherington and Shelton Wetherington, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Rick; her daughters-in-law, Terri Rutland of Hahira, Georgia and Penny J. Rutland of Cecil, Georgia; her grandchildren, Dillon, Kaylie Rutland of Tampa, Jessica, Travis Meeks of Powder Springs, Alana, Justin Rozar of Cecil, Haley and Nate Bassett of Hahira; her great grandchildren, Bobby Meeks of Powder Springs, Jackson Bassett of Hahira, Harrison Bassett of Hahira, Haylan Bassett of Hahira and John Asher Rozar of Cecil; and her siblings, Ronald Wetherington of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Joyce (Terry Moore) and Diane (John Lauten). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
