He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Bowman Wagoner of Browns Summit and Jack Robert Wagoner of Guilford County. He is survived by: his wife Deborah DeBord Wagoner; his children, Michael E. Wagoner and Katherine M. Wagoner; and his siblings, Kathryn W. Hansen, R. Neil Wagoner (Faye), CJ Wagoner Regnerus (Verle) and Steven B. Wagoner (Sandy). He is also survived by nephew and six nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Alan's name to either Mountain Park UMM or the American Diabetes Association.
