He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Earl Stanley, Gurdine Stanley and David Stanley; and his parents, Reverend Earby Stanley and Annie Mae Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Teresa Stanley; his sister Sandra Stanley; his children, Lenora Dobbs (Keith), Benjamin Stanley (Rebecca), Richard Stanley (Becky), David Tyler (Chesnee), Melinda Fierge (Dustin), Shane Towfigh (Meghan), Benny Stanley Jr., Carson Towfigh (Kaitlin), Rex Belgara (Jonnie), Martha Jones (Clay) and Maryanne Towfigh; and his grandchildren, Arbin, Amber, Jaden, John, Logan, Christian, Jesse, Chase, Ava, Melody, Skylar, Caleb, Kyndall, Noah, Bentley, Keegan, Camden, Nathan, Kohen, Kaiden, Zayne, Anakin, Mason, Cason and Leia. He is also survived by his two children, their family.
