She was predeceased by: her parents, Godfrey M. Funk, Sr. and Essie Hefner Funk; her siblings, Godfrey M. Funk, Jr., Harvey W. Funk, George A. Funk, Ralph Funk, Emma Mae Wilson Hunter, Betty Jean Funk and Agnes Greene Powell; and her husband Loyd Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria F.; her son-in-law Jackie Wade; her grandson Brandon Wade; her brother James; and her sister-in-law Donna Funk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home (175 VFW Rd, Cornelia, GA 30531). A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Level Grove Cemetery (121 Cemetery Dr, Cornelia, GA 30531).
