He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis H McKinnon and Georgia Lee McKinnon; his wife Joan P McKinnon of Lilburn, GA; and his brother Otis McKinnon of Taylors, SC.. He is survived by: his children, Mark McKinnon (Wendy) of Bethlehem, GA and Christy Carrington (Alan) of St. Mary's, GA.; his grandchildren, David McKinnon of Braselton, GA, Dalton McKinnon, Dillon McKinnon of Bethlehem, GA, Jordan Thompson (Ryan) of Kingsland, GA, Allison Carrington of Lawrenceville, GA and Nicholas Carrington of St. Mary's, GA; his great grandchildren, Ada Joan and Ivy James Thompson of Kingsland, GA.; his sister Rebecca Godfrey of Gaffney, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Bagwell of Blowing Rock, NC and Mary Ann Wright (Chuck) of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
