It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lance Lanier of Lilburn, Georgia, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Rodolph Lanier and Emily Lanier; his brother Major Steve Lanier; and his son Timothy Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Diane Lanier; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Ginger Lanier; his grandsons, Austin and Ethan Lanier; his sister-in-law Lt. Colonel Sheila Lanier; his nephew Blake (Jill Lanier); his niece Brooke (Daniel Dao); his parents-in-law, Vern and Winnie Ayers; his sister Cindy; his brother-in-law Wayne Bates; his nephew Nathan McKinney; Lorelei McKinney.
