George Chanos Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Chanos of Lilburn, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Steve Chanos. He is survived by: his mother Mary Anne Chanos; his wife Wendy; his children, Steve Chanos (Stephanie) and Alissa Faulkner (Grant); his sister Chrysé Smallwood (Jody); and his grandsons, Josh and Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral (2500 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta, GA 30329). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
