It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo Ann Jones (Lilburn, Georgia), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Haynes Gentry and Mary Catherine Sullins Gentry; her husband George Lee Jones; and her sister Mary Lee Gentry Hankins. She is survived by: her brothers, James Haynes Gentry, Jr. (Suzanne) and Tom Gentry (Robbie); her children, Leeann Jones Jannett (Keith Richard Jannett), George Luther Jones (Kelley Ryder Jones), Timothy Elliott Jones (Jennifer Langley Jones) and Catherine Jones; and her grandchildren, Madison Rose Jannett, Kylee Grace Jannett, Noah Matthew Jannett, Emily Ann Jones and Lainey Hazel Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cornerstone Bible Church (869 Cole Dr SW, Lilburn, GA 30047). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Eternal Hills Memory Gardens (3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the same location.
