He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bailey and Bobbie Day Bailey; his brother-in-law Jerome Wigley; his parents-in-law, Jay Sager and Dorothy Jean Whittington; and his grandson Austin.
He is survived by: his wife MariHelen Sager Bailey; his children, Lena Bailey Hudson (Charlie), Kenneth Blake Bailey, Jacob Lee Bailey, Janette Bailey Blesch (Gerald) and Kimberly Michelle Phillips; his stepson Steven Matthew Sager (Kerry); his grandchildren, McKenzie, Riley Hudson and Wyatt Hudson; his sisters, Jean Forrester (Rondall) of Buford, GA, Linda Bagwell (Mark) of Ball Ground, GA and Helen Wigley of Dahlonega, GA; and his brothers-in-law, Michael J. Sager, Bill Connell Sager (Kathy) and Terry Gene Sager (Susan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
