He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mamie Louise (Moore) and Woodrow Wilson Cox; his sisters, Betty Jean Cox and Josie Helen Chick (Cox); his wife Barby Ellen Cox (Fortenberry); his daughter Dianah Lynn; his granddaughter Christina (Glenn Greene) of San Antonio; his great grandchildren, Forest Greene and Emberly Greene; and his son Kyle Alan (Amanda Cox).
