With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mitchell Kj of Lilburn, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Mitchell; and his brothers, Tony Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell (Dorothy). He is survived by: his children, Wendy Stockburger and Michael Mitchell (Leslie); his grandchildren, Chad Mitchell, Kyle Stockburger and Malorie Mitchell; his siblings, Lillian Cox (William), Velma Hinton, Selma Jones and David Mitchell (Linda); and his sister-in-law Laura Mitchell.
Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in honor of KJ's service and sacrifice.
