He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Thomas Sr. and Jessie Lee Caldwell; his former wife Emma Jean Turner; his son Michael; and his siblings, Gladys Jean Jackson, Rosie Lee Ceaser (Dorcelie), Clarence Hall (Shirley) and Tommy Hall (Brenda).
He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Roneta; his daughters, Roneta Davis, Keisha Diallo and Rita Thomas; his granddaughter Nakila Thomas; and his sister Lula Pearl Goodwin (William). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rainbow Park Baptist Church (2941 Columbia Dr, Decatur, GA 30034-4146). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Mercies Christian Church (4000 Five Forks Trickum Rd SW, Lilburn, GA 30047).
