She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ervin and Roselyn Ervin; her former husband Ronald Edwin Weekley; her husband John Joseph Chmielewski; her brother John Robert Ervin; and her granddaughter Morgan Elizabeth Weekley.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Gajeske (Rod Gajeske) and Russ Weekley (Carolyn Nichols Weekley); her grandchildren, Garrison Fraley, Amanda Menefee, Savanna Fraley, Hannah Weekley and Kenny Menefree; and her great grandchildren, Blakelyn Fraley, Bristol Fraley and Jaxson Menefee.
Sandy graduated high school in 1959 and attended college at Marshall University on the Ford Foundation scholarship where she earned a bachelor's degree in 1964.
