She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pauline Wade, Gloria Curry and James Hamrick; and her son Luther Lane. She is survived by: her children, Calvin Lane of Crawford, Georgia, Kenneth Lane Sr. (Julia Lane) of Washington, Georgia, Keith Lane of Athens, Georgia, Rogie Lane of Washington, Georgia, Sasha Lane-Smith (Willie Smith) of Athens, Georgia, Shawn Lane (Lafaye Lane) of Monroe, Georgia, Angel Wim and Chris Lane; and her siblings, Ola Mae Robinson of Lincolnton, Georgia, Floyd Hamrick of Macon, Georgia, Johnny Hamrick of Washington and John Hamrick Jr. of Augusta, Georgia.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the White Rock Baptist Church (1870 White Rock Rd, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the same location.
