He was predeceased by : his parents, George W. Bouknight and Maris Buff Bouknight; and his siblings, Horace Bouknight, John Bouknight, Lois Watson and Grace Corley.

He is survived by : his wife Ikuko Motohashi Bouknight; and his sister Faye Ergle of Modoc, SC.
