She was predeceased by : her father Lawrence Chavous (L. D.); and her brothers, Lawrence "Winky" Chavous, Sr., Aubrey Chavous, Marty Chavous and Britt Chavous.
She is survived by : her mother Beannie Chavous; her husband Kenneth Heaton; her sister Kathy Herrington; and her children, Linda Susan Carter, Nancy Elaine Felton (Rick), Kay Bailey (Robert), Kelley Elias (Greg), Ricky Heaton and John Horne. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
