She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Lawrence Reeder, Sr. and Georgia Moore Reeder; her siblings, Wanda Lynn Reeder Jansen and Arthur Reeder; her sister-in-law Joyce Reeder; and her niece Heather Reeder.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Thomas Hawkes; her sons, Alvin Franklin Hawkes (Amber Dawn) of Lincolnton and Michael Reeder Hawkes of Lincolnton; her grandson Jasper Thomas Hawkes; her brother Franklin Lawrence Reeder, Jr. (Georgia) of Cartersville; and her niece Michelle Reeder Lewis (Ryan) of Cartersville.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Baptist Church (4281 Greenwood Church Rd, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the same location.
