He is survived by: his wife Connie Foster Broom; his sons, Christopher Lann Broom (Rebecca) of Toccoa and Casey Stephen Broom (Heather) of Lincolnton; his great grandchildren, Margaret "Meg" Martin, Joel Broom, Jeremiah Broom, McKayla Broom, Stephen Broom, Amanda Deinhardt, Chelsey Daughtry and Caitlin Green; and his grandchildren, Gracie Broom, Isaac Broom, Harper Deinhardt, Isaiah Deinhardt, Alice Deinhardt, Heinrich Deinhardt, Charles Green, James Green, MaryAnne Green, Henry Green, Harrison Green and Anastasia "Annie" Martin.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Community Church (100 S Smyrna Church Rd, Washington, GA 30673).
