He is survived by : his mother Jeanette Moniecey Harbert McCannon; his son Matthew Ryan McCannon of Elberton; his siblings, James McCannon of Elberton and Arlene Fleming of Hartwell; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Cade of Elberton, Pam Smith of Elberton and Mary Toney of Elberton.
