He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Ross Reese and Eunice Haynes Reese; and his brothers, Douglas Marshall Reese, Jerry Blanchard Reese and Leon Morgan Reese.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Martin Reese; his children, Charles Dwayne Reese (Hilda) of Lincolnton and Denise Reese Hamrick (Mil) of Lincolnton; his grandchildren, Nikki Welch (John) of Lincolnton, GA., Carrie Burton Edge (Forrest) of Soperton, GA., Will Shelton (Whittney) of Wrens, GA. and Jodi Judy (Jonathan) of Wrens, GA.; and his siblings, Dorothy Reese Edmunds of Hickory, NC, Marietta Reese Stone of Lincolnton, Myra Reese Griffith of Lincolnton, Emily Reese Leckie of North Augusta, S. C., Eugenia Reese Enlow (Chester) of Graniteville, S. C., Barbara Reese LeRoy (Lamar) of Lincolnton, GA, Jack Reese (Jamie) of Lincolnton, GA, Carol Reese Cox of Lincolnton, GA, Eddie Reese of Lincolnton, GA and Shearell Reese Scott (Alvin) of Lincolnton, GA. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
