He is survived by: his wife Vonnie Louise Wilson Hughes; his children, Gary Hughes (Cari), Grady Hughes (Dawn), Jacob Hughes (Melanie) and Vickie Henry (John); his grandsons, Will Hughes and Kade Hughes; and his siblings, Elaine Newman (James) and Louis Hughes (Janice). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
