She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond Sims and Laura Evelyn Wade Sims; and her husband James Randall "Randy" Edwards. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Vaughn (Becky) and Randy Edwards, II (Candy); her grandchildren, Adam Vaughn (Sandi), Eric Vaughn and Hannah Edwards; her great grandchildren, Emberly Vaughn, Maebry Vaughn and Caroline Vaughn; and her siblings-in-law, Tina Sharp (J. R.), Ronnie Edwards and Jeff Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161).
