With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Augustine McClure of Lindale, Georgia, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marlene Augustine McClure to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Willie Taylor Paynter and Rethlay Rubymae Rogers Paynter; her husband Jackie Milton McClure; and her granddaughter Amanda Floyd Mann. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Casey (Ronnie), Teresa Floyd (Ricky), Felton Morrow (Michelle) and David Morrow; her grandchildren, Rick Floyd (Sarah), Morgan Casey, Luke Casey (Andy), Alicia England (Matt), Justin Morris and Blake Morrow; and her sister Marsoonia Beal. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the South Chapel (3002 Maple Rd SE, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Cedartown Church of God of Prophecy Piano Fund.
