He is survived by: his wife Beverly Canady; his children, Charles Canady Jr. and Charlette Barnes (Deron); his siblings, Joann Canady-Samuel and Chauncy M. Whaley; his grandsons, Deron Barnes Jr., Landon Barnes and Bryson Barnes; his mother-in-law Charlotte Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Martin Jr. (Diane), Barbara Dieng (Omar), Alicia Lester (Dennis) and Yolanda Tatum. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
