He was predeceased by: his parents, Evie Johnston Wellham and Byron Adams Wellham; and his siblings, Lloyd Wellham, Doy Wellham, Andrew "Jack" Wellham and Marvine Wellham Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Deal Wellham; his children, David Wellham, Karen Caldwell (David) and Scott Wellham (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Emily Wellham, Julia Wellham, Campbell Wellham, Bubba Caldwell, Lily Caldwell, Kati Caldwell, Karsten Wellham and Trevor Wellham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (4031 Bankhead Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made towards the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 11491 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
