Chester Burge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Burge of Lithia Springs, Georgia, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Chester is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Chester's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jon Henry Burge and Elizabeth Burge. He is survived by: his wife Diane McLarty Burge; his daughter Tanya Burge Marshall (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Desiree Thomas and Allen Vasser.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
