Though Emily Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Hamilton McGouirk and Hilma McGouirk; her husband James Ralph Broom; and her grandson Jacob Broom. She is survived by: her children, James R. "Jimmy" Broom Jr. (Susan), Kenneth Hamilton Broom, Kathleen Hilma Broom and Billy Broom (Eugenia); and her sister Johnnie Ruth Tackett (Ronnie). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family, friends, and her wonderful caregivers.
