He is survived by: his sons, Jack Whitaker (Connie) of Newnan and Tim Whitaker (Catherine) of Ellijay; his siblings, Diane Whitaker Kirby (Larry) of Lithia Springs and Roy Whitaker (Barbara) of Temple; his grandchildren, Greg, Dusty, Zack, Taylor and Michael; his great grandchildren, Meagan, Marley, Jared and Joshua; and his great great grandchildren, Lyle Ward Whitaker and Aria Parke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
