He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Louise Campbell Smith and James Charles Smith; and his sisters, Evie Lipscomb and Linda Crook. He is survived by: his aunt Jean Mitchell of Lithia Springs; his brother Jerry Smith of Atlanta; his nieces and nephews, Nolena Lipscomb, Crystal Rowland, Taylor Lipscomb and Bryan Baxter; and his cousins, Julie Brown and Dexter Guy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at the Sunrise Memorial Gardens (11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134).
