He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Edward Rush of Powder Springs, Georgia. and Viola Rosetta Bagwell of Powder Springs, Georgia.; his brother Terry Alfred; his sister-in-law Lucy G. Rush of Mableton, Georgia; and his great-niece Carlotta.
He is survived by: his sister Brenda Cobb (Thomas) of Hiram, Georgia; his nephew Stephen Rush (Teddi) of Minnesota; and his niece Rebecca Phillips (Darren) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
