He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Cook (Latham) and Flynn Cook; and his siblings, Robert Cook, Shelma Chafin and Shirley Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cook; his daughters, Cindy Holmes, Stephanie Peace, Deanna Brooks, Stacey West Edmonds and Dana Williams Brue; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Yearwood and Shelly Norris; and his grandchildren, Amanda Peace, Allison Chapman, Matt Holmes, Noah Cook, Abigail Brooks and Belle Brooks. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
